As 2025 draws to a close, we at Hillis Adjustment Agency want to thank our clients, partners, and community for trusting us to advocate for you this year. From severe summer storms in the Northeast to hurricane recovery efforts across the Carolinas and Florida, our team has been honored to stand beside you and help families and businesses rebuild.
2025 Year in Review
This year brought unique challenges and opportunities. Our adjusters assisted homeowners and property owners affected by Hurricane Milton and Helene, severe weather in the Northeast that caused roof and water damage, and localized flooding and windstorms across the Carolinas and Florida. Through it all, our mission remained the same, to protect policyholders’ rights and ensure fair settlements. We are proud of the dedication our adjusters showed from first inspections through final settlements.
Inspect. Check. Document.
Before the holiday season, take a few proactive steps to protect your home and peace of mind.
Inspect your roof and gutters. Clear debris and make sure downspouts direct water away from the foundation.
Check insulation and pipes. Frozen or burst pipes are among the most common winter claims.
Document your property. Update photos and inventories of your home and valuables before year end.
Review your insurance policy. Know your deductibles, exclusions, and coverage limits before a loss occurs.
